5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money...
This is definitely an excellent special edition release, but it's just a shame that it wasn't released everywhere as a special edition. These live tracks will probably end up on a boxed set someday, but what can you do? If you're a big RP fan,
you just have to have it. This is great added value to an already superb album.

Mighty Rearranger is far and away the best CD Robert Plant has made. It's probably the CD I've enjoyed the most of any I bought this year. While the live disk is probably only of interest to Plant fans, it is excellent, and does his excellent 2005 live dates justice.

Spring for this one if you're a fan, but go for the standard release if you're jusst looking for a great listen.

Must have for the Robert Plant fan. Superb sound and track list. Rarely heard live songs such as Takamba, All the King's Horses and a great new version of Gallow's Pole.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mighty ReArranger - Radio France Live, June 20, 2010
This review is from: Mighty Rearranger (Audio CD)
For those looking for the facts. Mighty ReArranger 2 CD set was sold in France with a bonus disc of live tracks captured live at the Studio 104 of La Maison de Radio France on June 9, 2005. The show contains reworkings of the Led Zeppelin classics "Black Dog","When The Levee Breaks", "Gallows Pole" and "Whole Lotta Love". The 2 CD set comes with a different colored CD inlay complete with picture sleeve and a stickered case. This set was put out in very limited release and it is believed that the album was pulled because Robert Plant incorrectly provides an introduction to a the song "All The Kings Horses" as a song that reviews Tony Blairs' progress with the war in Iraq. The song "Takamba" was in fact the song that he was speaking of. This album also includes the song "Freedom Fries" which is critical of of the climate in the USA after the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
The track list is:

1. "Shine It All Around" [4:50]
2. "Black Dog" [5:03]
3. "Freedom Fries" [5:47]
4. "When the Levee Breaks" [6:28]
5. "All the King's Horses" [4:47]
6. "Takamba" [4:49]
7. "Tin Pan Valley" [6:28]
8. "Gallows Pole" [5:39]
9. "The Enchanter" [7:55]
10. "Mighty Rearranger" [5:43]
11. "Whole Lotta Love" [10:31]

For more than two years Amazon.com has incorrectly provided an audio link on this page to a completely different album by a completely different artist.
