3yo son just LOVES Mighty World. I only wish they made more sets; they could give Playmobil a run for their money. The Mighty World people are large enough to manipulate and play with (unlike tiny Playmobil people). The vehicles are durable and have plenty of features (opening doors, compartments, hood). The small accessories should be kept from young children, but will add interest to play as child grows. On the rescue set... just wish the trailer would actually stay hitched to the truck. Had to glue the hitch onto the truck and then have to rubber band the trailer to the hitch.

My son is very much into firefighting and we started buying these Mighty World sets for him about 2 years ago. He loves playing with them and is constantly putting out fires and taking care of other emergencies around the house with them. The only problem that I have is that the vehicles really aren't all that durable. At least two of the trucks are missing doors. Other than that, they are very realistic and give him lots of options.
