Book Description

January 1, 2002
Taken from our two-day training course, this book provides the reader with the skills required to successfully migrate PFF-based and non-PFC-based PowerBuilder 6.0 and 6.5 applications to PowerBuilder 8. The new facilities and features implemented in PowerBuilder 7 and 8 are reviewed, along with the features that were obsoleted in each release. The process of migrating applications to PowerBuilder 8 is presented, including tools to aid in the migration, and resolution of commonly occurring problems.

The lab setup and solution diskette included with the book provides the files required to perform the hands-on labs, and includes a set of solutions to the lab exercises for student review.
