About the Author
Nikolay Minev is an International Master in chess, former champion of Bulgaria, and long-time international competitor. He is the author of several chess books, and his contributions to both the Encyclopedia of Chess Openings and Encyclopedia of Chess Endings are numerous. He is a popular columnist with Inside Chess Magazine, and his writings as known and praised by chess players worldwide. He is particularly known for his writings on tactical play, and for his unswerving commitment to rediscovering and reviving opening lines which have been forgotten by chess theory, but which remain fundamentally sound.
