Mikasa has been around since 1948 and knows how to set a classy table. This medium-size serving/vegetable bowl is ivory and features a design of blue, green, and tan leaves. It's very pretty and helps you set a nice table for entertaining, but it's not fussy and can certainly stand up to the rigors of daily use. The stoneware goes from the oven or microwave to the table and then to the dishwasher. This round bowl measures 8-1/2 inches across and 2-3/4 inches high. --Doree Armstrong

I've had this for almost 13 years, and it still looks as new as the day I took it out of the box! Useful in both the conventional and microwave ovens. I always need more than just one. It's a classic pattern, goes with everything from plastic to silver, and is very durable. I received most of my Mikasa as wedding gifts. I've long since dumped that husband, but I kept the Arabella!

I bought my Mikassa Arabella dinnerware at least 10 years ago in a base exchange in Germany where there wasn't much of a selection but I loved it at first glance. I have added pieces over the years and learned last year that it is one of their most popular patterns. I'm not surprised! The pieces are very versatile: good for everyday yet nice enough for company. Only one plate has been broken despite years of hand washing! The colors are just as nice today as when I bought the original pieces. They do go in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven. I am still please when I set a table with this dinnerware; they are in my colors, so I will likely have this pattern for the rest of my life.
