5.0 out of 5 stars can you take it, March 18, 2007

Want to dribble left handed with strength, shoot with strength. This is it. Don't over do it but use it 30 min every other day and every day for passing. Big problem is finding someone to use it with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Heavyweight Ball, February 11, 2010

Exactly as described. Great for shooting form work. Not recommended for anything outside 10-12 feet. The farthest you should shoot this ball from is just inside of where your form gets messed up because you have to work too hard to get the ball to the rim. If 3 feet is that limit, don't go outside of 3 feet until you can do so without changing your form. Even if you have to "shoot" this to a spot on a brick wall to keep correct form, that's fine. Just like lifting weights - when you can increase the weight you curl over time - you can eventually extend your range with this ball. just keep the correct form! enjoy.

Using this ball enhances your shooting range and handling of the normal ball. I would recommend that players who are serious or otherwise interested in the game to get one or two of these balls. Whether they are young or mature like myself.
