Crafted in the simple, understated Stephanie design, these champagne flutes add elegance to a formal dining table or a celebratory occasion. The two crystal flutes in this set are machine-blown, a process that exactly mimics the steps a skilled craftsman undertakes when blowing glass by hand. These flutes are very plain in design except for slight vertical striations that have a refracting effect on light. Each glass stands 8-1/2 inches tall, has a 2-inch-wide rim, and holds about 8 ounces of the intoxicating beverage of choice. Mikasa crystal stemware should be hand washed and stored with the bowls upright to keep the rims from chipping. --Cristina Vaamonde
