This CD comprises of 12 classic songs sung from the heart with passion and drive. Most people will buy this CD for the Kelly's Heroes theme "Burning Bridges" which is one of the best songs ever written and surprisingly omitted from many war theme compilations. Each track contains wonderful harmonies and a strong medley of typical sixties and seventies style instruments that will put at your total piece with the world.

I saw this movie after coming home from nam the theme song "Burning Bridges" just passed by most people but to me it meant something . In My life time I have burned many bridges turning my back on marriges, women giving away houses cars everything I owned and just walking away all to my regret in my later years not the material things but the lives I left behind. When I'm buried this is going to be played at my funeral.
I got home ok my body with a little wear and tear but my but my soul changed. I hope this song helps anyone who needs it at this point in their life. God speed for my fellow vets.

Most people, including myself, like ths recording for the song BURNING BRIDGES. Like newdude below, it is one of the definitive scores of the late sixties. Basically a Show Tune, it was none-the-less inspiring within the counter-culture movement of the era. It is harmonious. It is pretty. It is set to video of war. It made a weird sort of sense. Let us not forget that Mike Curb was the sitting LT. Governor of CA @ the time! A touchstone work that captured the spirit of the times.

This is a real neat collection of various tunes from the 60's. The one song theme from "Kelly's Heroes" is worth the cost of the whole CD.

There are several other very nice songs on this CD. Some Patriotic....

Give this a listen, and if you're over 40 you'll say.."Hey, I remember that..".

Great movie! Even greater theme song! I just love that song. It takes me back when the movie first came out. I loved it (the movie and song) then, now and always. Thank you for making the product available. Also love that song 'all for the love of sunshine.' I guess that there's nothing like a great theme song. Makes the corresponding movie just that much better.

This cd will bring back some memories! I would reccomend it to anyone seeking those oldies but goodies. It has all the good songs!

This CD is one I thought I would never see. The song "Burning Bridges" was the theme song from Kelly's Heroes (with Clint Eastwood and Kelly Savalas). My husband and I went to see it and while the song was playing he asked me to marry him. I said "YES." We've been married 39 1/2 years now. Consequently, the song means a lot to us. He is a very sentamental guy and has been watching the movie for several weeks,constantly replaying the song. He was wishing he could have the tape of the song - I got it for his special Christmas gift. Anyway, the tape is fantastic.

Most people will purchase this for "Burning Bridges" ... but enjoy the rest of the album too.
