This book does cover the new A+ exams. Hence the sub-title (602, 603, and 604) the earlier versions of Comptia were not called that by the same numbers. They were just A+ Hardware and A+ Software. This books has been revised to reflect the latest technology as of 2007, so there are always going to be new technology in the computer hardware industries.
M. Meyers gives ample exercises and real life scenarios in his great book. This book was for my A+ class and was very helpful to my passing the new exams from Comptia, A+ Essentials and A+ 220-602 IT technician.

Since passing the exams, I am getting IT Helpdesk and Desktop support jobs left and right!

Thanks to MR. Meyers' helpful insights and expertise.

This book was for the 1997-98 exams and it did not even come with the disk that is suppose to come with the book that alloes you to take practice exams. Anyone, in the future, make sure you ask what year the exam material covers and if you will be getting the exam test CD with it.
