I was hoping for blazing fast transfer rates. Wired is OK once you enable the gig functionality on the ports. The wireless-n however, is just slow. I can usually get about 11g speeds but rarely get above my old transfer rates. Doesn't support 5ghz but that's my fault for not looking into it deeper before purchasing. I suppose it would be good if you wanted to set up a hotspots for a business or needed to VLAN off various networks, but overall it seems too low powered to do anything major with. I think I might try a few more things and then just buy a Cisco/Linksys or comparable with some better documentation to it. Mikrotik has a good name but a lot of people seem to be having similar issues to mine from what I can tell. Oh well. At least it doesn't drop wireless clients like my old WRT54g.

Other than that, it has great interfaces including web, client, and CLI. Upgrading to latest firmware was easy. Factory default was easy too. (I made some config errors and had to reset) The platform does have a lot more features than your regular home router. I was just hoping for better throughput.

Excelente equipo, aunque recomiendo que debe traer un manual por lo menos una guía de como encenderlo, aunque se conoce que es un producto para personal altamente capacitado

Best router I have ever had. I replace an RB-750 (w/o gigabit ports) with it.
Great product. Programming a routerboard can be tedious however, there is plenty of documentation on line.

The product was as described.
This router has very powerful and complex software but not-so-good hardware.
Buy this only if you really have some specific needs that regular routers from famous brands doesn't support and also only if you are a expert geeky person.
If you are an amateur user there is a good chance that you will never be able to config this router to your needs.
