I've been shooting and cleaning guns for quite some time now and I've always used the best of the best in order to extend the life of my firearms.

This grease is great for ALL guns and top firearm brands recommend it. It works well with P226R, M9, SA M1911, and Glocks (but obviously it suits all firearms wonderfully)

Pros:
- Doesn't run even when hot
- provides great protection against slide friction from frame
- Box tells you the necessary amount that should be applied for various applications (from light to heavy use)
- Long life
- Reliable
- Gun mechanics move a lot smoother

Cons:
- None

Notes:
- This 4oz tube's tip is sealed completely; therefore you need to cut the tip in order to create an exit for the grease
- Grease will naturally separate the white compound and the oils in the tube; no worries, just knead the tube a bit before using

Recommendation(s)/Suggestion(s):
- Like I said, you need to cut an opening before you can sqeeze it out; however, instead of cutting a hole, I suggest poking a hole with a fairly large needle. This way you can sqeeze firmly without having to worry about sqeezing out too much at once.
- Before using the product, knead the tube a bit to have a more uniform solution of grease
- Don't use on the inside of the barrel
- When applying to your firearms, apply a decent ammount (an even faint white colored amount); if you see pure white spot of lube, then you applied too much; if you don't see a faint white amount, then you need to apply more

Thanks for reading this review, cheers!

***Update 10/13/2011***
This product continues to amaze me. It doesn't dry out, it keeps my firearms running smoothly. I recently got a new AR-15 (LMT MRP CQBPS16) and I am impressed with how well it lubricates and protects all the vital parts and pieces. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

I am a weapons loader at an f-16 wing, specifically gun shop. We use 25b on everything from the M9 up to the M61a1 (20mm Vulcan on the f-16). This stuff is great you don't have to apply thick coats that spray everywhere during a gun spin. Just coat the part and where possible wipe down leaving a nice gloss (armor all for guns). This stuff is designed for as thin a coating as possible to minimize debris pickup (it's like we have been fighting wars in the desert or something). Also despite what one reviewer stated you can and should apply inside your bore, just remember to run a dry patch through afterwards or you will get a thick black sludge build up.

I bought a Sig Sauer handgun and this is what they endorse and use on their own guns. They even gave me a sample with my handgun. Just like lubriplate but synthetic. Seems to be "slickier" to me. With all my semi-automatics I found that you better use grease on your slide and outside of your barrel. Oil everywhere else. If you have CCW I use eezox on outside of pistol to protect against moisture and staining clothes. The larger amount you buy, the cheaper per ounce. Makes sense. Don't worry...a little goes a long way.

I use this for my M1A and for high-wear components on my pistols. Great stuff and when used properly will ensure your firearm survives thousands of cycles. Well worth the cost, and this tube will last a ton of cleanings.

This grease spreads well, I use two drops per side on the slide mechanism of the pistols and it gets the job done.

Hi all this is the grease that Sig Sauer uses. It will help prevent wear and tear to your prized Sig . You need to apply it to both the slide rails and frame rails. Also on the outside of the barrel where contact or rubbing happens. If you go to Sigforum.com like I did you can get great advice and detailed pics.

Was using other top name products and after trying the Mil-Comm products there is no going back. This grease really does a great job protecting the gun during use even when getting hot.

I reveived this product included by Sig Sauer from the manufacturer in samples recommeded for use. I liked it and bought this largewr version after noticing it doesn't "burn off" like similar products.
Would have given 5 stars except the tube was sio poorly made it tore open on th first use at the rear and i now am sending back a zip lock bag of what's left in a big glob...

I love this gun grease. I read all of the reviews on line before purchasing this and I bought a 4oz tube. For as much as you need per cleaning, my great grand children will still be using this tube when I'm gone. This grease dose not migrate like oil, it is better lubrication than oil. Put it on and 5 years later pick up your gun and shoot it without worry.
