Gonzalo de Berceo (Berceo, Logroño, 1195-d. 1264). España. Pertenece a la tradición literaria llamada «mester de clerecÃa», integrada por eclesiásticos y hombres de letras. Se educó en el monasterio de San Millán de la Cogolla (La Rioja), en el que ofició como clérigo secular, y fue más tarde diácono (c. 1120) y presbÃtero (c. 1237).
