At the time I wrote this review, no one else had given a detailed description of this handbag so hopefully I can accomplish that for those of you out there still undecided and unsure by looking at the photos.

Wow, this bag certainly deserves all 5 of those stars! There are only a couple of improvements that really could be made (I'll mention those later) but they're so minor that it really doesn't effect my rating. I'll say first that I ordered this bag in brown (which is a deeper chocolate brown...not light) and the richness of the color and contrast of the styling elements is absolutely perfect. So I can't speak for the other colors available but this one is flawless in my opinion.

I can also say with certainty that this handbag in person feels and looks like it costed more than it does so the quality is top notch. In fact, that's one of the things that doesn't show through in the pictures well at all: the feel of this leather. It's the type of "leather" that is very flexible, plush and soft to the touch, not the harder vinyl type material.

For me personally this was the first hobo style bag that I had ever purchased. When it came to purses I always went for the smaller shoulder bags so I was concerned about whether or not this handbag would be too much of a hassle to lug around in stores, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at not only its size but also how lightweight it is. The bag is just large enough that you could carry pretty much everything you'd need in it but not so big that it gets in the way.

The exterior has 2 side zippered pockets and a zippered pocket on the back as well. As I mentioned earlier in the review, this is where the minor flaws in my opinion are with the pockets. You can't really tell by the pictures of the bag but these side pockets (although somewhat wide) are not deep at all. So keep that in mind if you're thinking that you could store your cell phone or something similar in them because my small phone wouldn't fit. The only thing I could get to fit comfortably in there were some packs of gum. The zippers on these outside pockets are very durable though and help with the style of the bag. There is one more zippered pocket on the outside of the bag which is larger and could easily store your cell phone or other belongings very securely because it's fairly deep.

On the inside, this hobo bag is very roomy. Your belongings will be safe too because the main zipper goes completely from one side to the other (and a little beyond) which I've noticed a lot of these types of bags don't seem to have which is a plus. On top of that is a style element that adds a little more protection (because of its weight) which is the small flap you see pictured with the golden circle. This flap doesn't have a magnet to clip on the opposite side of the bag but because the circle is a little heavy, it helps out. Inside of the bag it has one large center pocket with a small zipper (perfect for your wallet, checkbook, etc.) and the open areas on each side of that pocket. There's yet another small zippered pouch inside on the side of the bag. Aside from those zippered areas you also have 2 small open compartments that are sewn (one large and one smaller) great for pens, small perfume bottles and similar items. The only complaint I have about the inside of this purse is that the fabric used to line it is very silky so things can easily slip around if they're not zipped up in one of those compartments. So if you store something for instance such as a pen in the sewn in pocket, you might be digging around for it in the bottom of the bag somewhere.

So overall, an easy 5 stars for this bag with very few drawbacks in my opinion. It looks great, is well made and it isn't too large, heavy or uncomfortable to wear on your shoulder. It's easily the best handbag I've ever owned. I'd highly recommend it! I sincerely hope this review helps you.

I loved this bag while it lasted, the color was perfect, it is big but not too big, it was very soft, good fake leather. I liked the zipper and multiple pockets inside. It was big enough for a small camera, my phone, wallet, makeup bag, and Kindle without looking huge or feeling crammed.

I finally gave up on it after half a year or so, because some of the hardware was coming off (the little metal 'feet' on the bottom and the round metal holes on the sides). I still give it five stars because I feel like I got my $40 worth out of it.

Wish I would have returned this one... The leather does feel soft and it is an attractive purse. That being said, two zippers broke right away. The one in the back broke in the first week and the one inside was broken when it arrived. One other complaint is the design of the center separation piece allows things to get lost as they slide underneath it. I have searched and searched for items and they really are there--Just under the center piece! It can make you crazy!

I really liked the look of the handbag but the color pink as shown is really a soft purple. The bag has lots of room and ornamentation but the color shown is pink, but in reality it is purple. I see why it is important to sometimes read the comments of those who have bought these items. I am in the process of finding some matching shoes or at least a belt to wear before I use this handbag.

It is a beautiful bag but not enough compartments. Just one main divider compartment that sags in the middle and is very annoying. The lining is already pulling away from the bag, Im not too pleased

After I read the previous good review, I purchased this hobo for my friend's birthday gift because of its unique color (the brown one). Before saying anything about the item, I'm impressed by the rapid shipment for receiving the package in few days earlier than her birthday.

For the product review, I can only give it 2 stars because the brown color is totally different from the shown picture. I am so disappointed after I opened the package and saw the bag, which is chocolate - dark brown - instead of the light brown that shown on the picture. I am a multimedia designer & always work for web & other media, I accept 5-10% color variations between the physical item and on-screen photo. Obviously, there are two different colors: light brown & dark brown. If the bag is bought for myself, for sure, I will return it right away... sighs~ don't mention the uniqueness of the light brown color as shown on the picture, the dark chocolate looks common to me, and I don't see the richness from the fabric that mentioned as the previous review. Asides from the color issue, the fabric softness is good, which fulfills my expectation on the product quality based on this price range.

Bottom Line: if you don't mind this look-like light brown color hobo ending up to be dark chocolate, then go ahead to order it. But if you will buy this for friends like me, don't forget that dark chocolate looks much maturer than the light one.

Summary: I will not buy any item from this seller again simply because of the misleading product shots.
