After listening to "Miles", I remember the first track "Let's Start Love Over", a hit in 1987 with me -- though a little on the down low with local DJays and dance clubs -- but, one of the greatest R & B artists around -- same year that Levert was headlining with "Casanova", then in '88 with "Addicted to You", however, Miles was flowing so fine with the old school feel of Teddy Pendergrass ... Incidently, I am a 34 year-old female who grew up with local radio stations heavy on R & B in Flint, and Saginaw, Michigan, and I can attest to the album "Miles" as being one of the most eloquent and true recordings of the 80's R & B music scene. Believe me when I say, Miles Jaye belongs to the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame -- he is a beautiful and bountiful soul singer to remain in my musical archives in Okemos, Michigan forever. Oh the first time I heard Miles Jaye, I was half asleep and the video for "I've Been a Fool For You" was playing. I stayed a wake long enough to find out who this voice belonged to because I almost though it was Teddy P. Anyway, the next morning found the album and played it until "Irristable" came out which I have on cassett tape. I've just about played the mess out of it...It is a shame that he did not blow up like I feel he should. Not only is he a wonderful singer, he is one hell of a musician. I wish they would play more of his music and what ever happen to the brotha??? I love his music and await the release of anything he makes. He took r&b/jazz to a another level with his sensious voice.

Miles "Irresistable" longer is available on the US market-what a shame! I too am looking desparately for that album. I love all of his albums. He is one artist that got better as he progressed. I believe Mr. Jaye went to the gospel route and devoted himself to GOD. Anyway, Can anyone tell me how to get a copy of that album in the UK market.

Miles has a way of singing that goes through me like an electrical current. Miles is wonderful with his strong powerful voice. That man can sing to me anytime, any place or just any where. I only wish he was still active with his singing and continue to get the recognition I know he deserves. Even still he has implanted into many minds his powerful sexy voice.

I just bought this CD while looking for "Irresistable", which is what I REALLY want. BUT, this CD grabs you in almost the same way. I still want "Irresistable" and I'm searching the world for it. I found it in the UK, but I haven't heard back on my order. In the meantime, I will be happy that I have re-found "Let's Start Love Over" on this CD and particularly "I've Been a Fool For You". They touch a nerve. Miles' rich sound is incredible. The man has pipes! It is hard to understand why his music is so difficult to find....on CD. Meanwhile, I think I'll go buy the two singles that were listed here at Amazon.com for him.

What a tremendous voice that this man has. I really miss his music and wish we had more of it. He really makes me want to savor the moments in time. I love Miles Jaye.

When this came out on cassette, I wore out my copy, so I had to get another one. I LOVE Miles Jaye! Great to have for your collections.

I too wore out my Irresistible cassette tape. I decided to look for the CD several years ago and learned that it wasn't for sale on any retail website. Noticing that Miles Jaye has a website from my searches, I finally went to it recently to see if it would explain why you can't buy
the Irresistible album. That's how I found out that you can buy the download on his website as well as his other albums.

LOVING MILES IS LIKE LOVING GOD ALWAYS KNOWING THAT U WILL ALWAYS HAVE GOOD MUSIC, KNOWING THAT HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE AND MOST OF ALL JUST KNOWING THAT HE WILL ALWAYS KNOW THE RIGH THING TO DO, AT ANY GIVING TIME. LOVE YOU MILES JAYE, PLEASE WHAT EVER U DO JUST COME BACK TO THE PEOPLE.

I know all of Miles' 3 albums and Miles is an extraordinary vocalist. You believe and feel what he is saying and on MILES, songs like Let's Start Love Over; "I've Been A Fool For You"; "Cry For You"; "Come Home" and "Lazy Love" are beautifully written, great words, and love the feel conveyed by each song. Miles does have an album titled "Irresistible" which I don't see listed. Irresistible included the hits "Heaven" and "Objective". Where is it? I cannot find it? I lost my copy and would love to be able to purchase it again for my collection. Overally, thoroughly enjoyed the CD Miles. Great Artist! Great Music! Great Songs!
