About the Author
Mara Purl is the author of the popular novel-series all about the town of Milford-Haven in the central coast of California. The town first sprang into being when Purl - a former actress on the NBC day-time serial "Days Of Our Lives" - created her own soap, but for the radio. "Milford-Haven, U.S.A." became the first (and still only) American radio serial to be broadcast by the BBC, and it had 4.5 million listeners in the U.K.

Mara Purl is the author of the popular and critically acclaimed Milford-Haven Novels which so far have won fifteen literary awards. Her beloved fictitious town first appeared as Milford-Haven, U.S.A. ©, the first American radio drama ever licensed and broadcast by the BBC where it reached an audience of 4.5 million listeners throughout the U.K. Mara wrote for the Associated Press and the Financial Times of London, among many others. As an actress, she's best known as "Darla Cook" on Days Of Our Lives. Mara is a national spokeswoman for Women's Fiction, also speaks on creativity and personal transformation, and performs audio books.

I very much enjoyed the tapes of "Milford-Haven U.S.A." episodes 1 through 4. They are very interesting and producer Mara has some wonderful actors. She also writes very well. I'm requesting information about more episodes in the series.
