This book is filled with useful information . It has excellent text and plenty of period photographs, coupled with photo's of every type of headgear worn by the Imperial German Military . This book is a must for anyone interested in this period of history , collector and historian alike.

This early primer on Militaria contains excellent pictures on a wide diversity of items from postcards, uniform studies, pouches, selected headgear and helmets to illustrate the various periods from the Napoleonic period to WWI.
Targetted at the general collector on militaria and antiquarians, it serves its purpose admirably although there are now other more specialised publications focussing in depth on specific areas. |
