This review is from: The Military Balance 2006 (Military Balance) (Paperback)
First off the book is extremly expensive. I bought this book used for $50. Second it's a good reference when studying military activities abroad. The book has many countries listed with military holdings ie armamemnts and a host of other military equipment from the Air Force to the Marines. The downside of this book it can at times get a little too detailed and hard to interpret because there are many abbriviations when dealing with the military, although there is an index of acronyms in the back of the book to help I found myself constantly turning to the back of the book. In the begining I was really looking for something easier to read as far as geopolitical conflicts worldwide and not the miltary inventories worldwide but all in all this is ok and it is usable but way out of my league.
