USMC 0311 here,

Don't waste money on this. There is no passion in the singers, sounds like they are in a studio or something, not even running. I realize that the cadences need to be toned down for the public (ie: no swearing etc) but the titles included in this set are lame and as unmotivated as the singers are. Check out some other titles like Marine Recon Cadences, or even some Army Ranger sets.

If you want some real cadences, don't look here, all they have are nice, polite, civillianized Army cadences; no mention of death, destruction, or crushing "Jody." The men singing aren't even running - they sound like they are in a studio. If you want to hear some real cadences, go to your nearest Marine Base and listen to some grunts running by. This CD should be in the childrens music section. This is NOT the real deal.

Not so good...,

I agree with the Marines. If you really want to listen to some hardcore running cadences that were actually recorded outside a studio with the troops,(and without the cheesy "artistic" vocals), you should consider checking out the 'Marine Recon' or any part of the Marine Corps cadence CD's before you make a decision. I'm sorry, but I just don't feel the steady rythym and the true essence of the run was captured on any of these Mickey Mouse cadences; I'm sure anyone who has been part of a formation run can agree with me.

Its true you can not run to these cadence. Especialy when the cadence caller isn't even running himself and can't keep in time.I like the sounds of soldiers running and sounding good not like a barber shop quartet.

I am a girls AAU Basketball coach and my girls team (13 & under) runs to the music of Modern Military Cadence to begin practice. I emphasize discipline, focus and a high energy for my practices and this music by Tim Dunnigan is a perfect compliment. My girls love this CD. The beat gives them a no-nonsense beginning to each of the practices. This is great work out music.

Best I've ever heard!,

I have been in the Army for 10 years and have never listened to such quality in cadence music. There is a lot available in cadence music, but this is by far the best I've ever heard.
