Format: Hardcover
This work by John Pimlott is outstanding and beautifully supplements Andrew Mollo's work, "Armed Forces of World War II: Their Uniforms, Equipment & Organization". Beautiful artwork of Postwar combat soldiers and mercenaries and their uniforms, weapons and equipment, arranged by continental zones (US, Asia, Africa,Europe)and respective conflicts in troubbled areas around the globe SINCE World War II. The descriptions of each are meticulous!! Highly recommend this book to both world historians and military enthusiasts alike!!!

I'm glad I decided on this book and the color photos and illustrations are great. I just wish it were more comprehensive but that would probably involve a much bigger volume and more costly.

I gave this book a two cause it was not interesting to me. I could of read a better book. I had to read it for a language arts class. And I thought it was very boring. It just told about the uniforms and the acsserories and when they were introduced to that military.
