This is a good belt for the price, it copies the military style web belts and buckle used in most of the Armed Forces.

It's not though, the same military quality as the webbing of the belt is noticeably thinner and more flexible as is the thinner metal used in the buckle. The real ones you buy on base at the PX are much better quality but also a little more expensive.

I didn't deduct any stars as it is a great value for the price and doesn't claim to be 'mil-spec' in the description.

I have gone through about 15 "leather" belts in the past 5 years, and they all have one thing in common. They started to fall apart after wearing them about a month. It didn't matter how much money I spent on them they weren't made out of a solid piece of leather, rather they were made out of leather grain that was formed together in a poor quality strap.

This belt on the other hand is actually made out of the product it advertises -pure cotton. There is a reason the military has been using these belts for decades, it's because they last and they are extremely cheap.

I will buy this product again, not because I will need to replace the one I have, but to get a few more colors to match my different work clothes.

Fairly good quality, with a low price. The 44" length when received was too long, however it was incredibly easy to cut to the length I needed. Just a pair of scissors were needed, nothing else. The canvas belt is good quality, and I can tell it will last a long time. The buckle could've been made with a better material. When you're opening and closing it, the pin clangs with the buckle, and has a cheap metallic sound to it. Otherwise a good belt overall.

I have been using these cheap web belts for years. Like all the others I bought, the buckle on this one is substantially lighter weight than a true military belt. Eventually (after a couple years of daily use) the buckles develop sharp edges around the sliding post in the middle. I replace them at that point. For the price, they are just fine.

After 20 years in the Army, I came to appreciate this type of belt for its durability and ease of adjustment. This new one seems as good or better than the ones the Army issued. Just be careful when you cut the belt to the proper length, as its easy to cut it too short, in which case you will have to lose weight to wear it.

This belt is very thin and flimsey, not at all like what I am used to. The original issued belts were much heavier and I think it would last much longer. I have worn these belts purchased from clothing sales and on line surplus stores since I retired from the Army in 1990.

So far this belt has been just what I wanted: an inexpensive web belt. The webbing is attractive. The buckle is fine but awfully light feeling. We'll see if it holds up. If something catastrophic goes wrong, I'll update this review.

I bought this belt for my husband. It met our expectations and even washed up well with no shrinkage or other problems. Good belt for the money--I had shopped all over town and could find no web belts anywhere.

Bought this for custom use--not as sturdy as the web belts I wear in the military, but I didn't expect that. For what I picked it up for it works and looks GREAT. And the price was right!

The belt and buckle are holding up and still look bright and new. The buckle is brass-colored steel, so time will tell. I plan to get more of these so I can leave them on my various shorts.
