Great idea...needs improvement!!!!!,
This review is from: Milk Bands Nursing Bracelet BLUE QTY: 1 (Baby Product)
I love this bracelet actually which is why i am so disappointed...the sliders ALWAYS are falling off or breaking...then you are left with a useless rubber bracelet. I emailed the owner of the company and she referred me to a webpage where i could get replacement sliders for "free" (either a set of 2 or a set of 4) for only 2.95 shipping and handling..what????!!! No way...I decided to buy a beaded nursing bracelet on ebay which is much more attractive for only 8.99 with free shipping ...can't wait to get it since my last slider broke this morning. Just google nursing bracelet...good luck! Also the milk band does have a tendency to flip over or get stuck when putting your arm in a sleeve or picking up baby...love the idea...just wish the product worked :( NOT RECOMMENDED!

great idea--poor quality,
This review is from: Milk Bands Nursing Bracelet BLUE QTY: 1 (Baby Product)
I loved the idea behind the bracelet, and so I was excited to try this out when I had my fourth child. It worked great and was so much nicer than keeping track of feedings on paper. Unfortunately, the darn thing broke after only two weeks! One of the little sliders broke off when I was moving it, and I wasn't being unduly harsh on it by any means. I e-mailed the company, and was sent a standard reply telling me to get replacement sliders for "free" after paying their shipping and handling charges. Nice customer service, huh?? I would not recommend this product to anyone, because of the poor quality. Seems to me a consumer shouldn't have to replace parts after only two weeks of use! I wish had read more reviews before purchasing and I would have known about this common problem:(

Great idea!,

This item has been so helpful to this sleep deprived Mom when trying to remember all the details of the last feeding. I took it with me to the hospital and have been wearing it ever since! (2 weeks today...)

Great idea, terrible product!,
This review is from: Milk Bands Nursing Bracelet BLUE QTY: 1 (Baby Product)
This product is a great idea but the quality is terrible! I didn't need a nursing bracelet with my first daughter as she ate religiously every 3 hours. But just having my second daughter 4 weeks ago I have found the need for a bracelet as she eats very sporadically and I can't keep track as to the side and times that she ate. So I purchased a Milk Band bracelet when my baby was a week old. I was able to use it for 2 weeks and in that time frame all 4 slider tabs that it came with broke in half! So I purchased another bracelet right away only to have all 4 sliders break in the first week! I contacted the company and found out I could order new sliders free of charge I only had to pay the shipping. That was about 2 weeks ago and the sliders still have not shown up and I have ordered a better product since then and it got here in 5 days! The only downfall to the new bracelet is that it cost 5 times what the Milk Band cost but at the end of the day if I had to keep replacing my Milk Band bracelets at the rate they were breaking I would have spent the equivalent of the new bracelet when my daughter was only 2 months old! The new bracelet is much nicer and way higher quality!

By week six, all the white plastic positioners had broke. I loved the bracelet, but they need to make something more durable.

If I had reviewed this a couple of weeks ago, I would've given it 5 stars. That's because it is a great idea, and I really loved the product. However, the two little plastic sliders that you move to mark the time just snapped in half and fell off one day. I wasn't doing anything harsh with them, and I had only been using the bracelet for less than a month. I was relieved when I remembered that the package had come with an extra set of sliders. I replaced them and all was well. That is, until a couple of weeks later when another slider broke in half and fell off. Now I'm left with one slider to mark the hour and nothing to mark the minute. Better than nothing, I suppose, but it's really ridiculous for a product to break this quickly after purchase. I just emailed customer service on their site, but I'm sure I'll get the same response as other reviewers here, and you should not have to pay to fix a defective product, especially when those tiny sliders shouldn't cost more than 1 first class stamp to mail.

Great Idea but sliders don't last...,

The idea behind this is AWESOME. Especially for sleep deprived mothers. This worked great for about 2-3 weeks now. Both sliders broke from moving them so much. You also have to be careful because the braclet will flip on you. If you aren't totally awake and do not catch it and then you can't remember which side your baby fed on last, you can become really full (and painful) on one breast if you guess the wrong one to feed on next. I had thought of getting another one and may spend the money on one more but I am going to do some further research and see if I can't find another bracelet that will last longer. I am planning on breatsfeeding for at least a year so spending between $6-10 for one of these every few weeks is not resonable.

For the first 6 weeks I wrote down all my son's feedings. I carried that darn clipboard with me everywhere (even to the doctor's office.) I had the hardest time remembering which side he last nursed as I'm also pumping so there isn't always a huge difference in size of my breasts after he eats. This bracelet saved my sanity. I heard one reviewer say that she was worried about the small pieces falling off and the baby swallowing them. Unless her bracelet was defective I can't see this happening. Those little white sliders are ON there. You would need to seriously pry them off. Anyway, love, love this product and would recommend it to any nursing mom.

I was turned off by the look of these, but I needed something to help my scattered and foggy new mama brain. This serves the purpose, but looks goofy to me.So I created my own nursing bracelet our of real gemstones and stainless steel memory wire. Works the same way, but it looks classy. You'll get so many compliments! You can also get extra charms and use them to keep track of other things like glasses of water, kick counts, vitamins or meds (especially helpful after c-section), also keep track of when to put your potty trainer on the toilet!! You can check them out[...]

i haven't taken it off since I've got it. Believe me, it saves you from stressing out trying to remember when your baby last ate. works for both breast and bottle feed babies. Don't let a sudden thought 'when he needs to be feed?!' ruining your relaxing shower, just look down on your wrist and continue: you deserve it!
