My two vices, if you want to call them that, are coffee and chocolate. I keep both in the house at all times. M&Ms are just very satisfying when the chocolate craving hits, and it makes sense to have the biggest bag on hand if you crave it a lot! This size is also ideal for a party. I like that these bags are reclosable. Some chocolate has hydrogenated oil, but not M&Ms! Maybe food coloring isn't ideal, but oh well, they are such a happy snack! And they are easy to enjoy -- M&Ms don't make a melty mess like a chocolate bar. If you purposely put some in a warm place, the chocolate melts inside the crispy candy shell, which is a yummy sensation when you eat them!

My stars and review are for the product only. I really wish Amazon would start to carry these at a comparable price with prime shipping (especially with subscribe and save!). Until then, I stock up when they go on sale for eight bucks at my local Target, drugstore or grocery store.

I've ordered these twice now. The first bag for Christmas.. then another bag for personal munching.

The first bag was in great shape. Not many imperfect little candies.. the second bag has a LOT of split candies, I'd guess it at 30 to 40 percent.

Not sure what would cause them to split.

Neither bag had melted candies, all where intact with bright and shiny candy shells, all were tasty. Arrived promptly.

Just a heads up if you are planning on serving to guests.

If for yourself, zip top bag for easy storage!!

So for 50% more cash I get 25% more candy how is that a good deal?

And the 42oz bags are cheaper at Walmart/Target/Kroger. Usually $8.99.

I am admitting to being addicted to M&M's - the size I just purchased is the largest I've seen. I am trying hard not to gobble them up in a short period of time!

I believe the product would be excellent if it had the right packaging for shipping; other than losing over half the contents of the m&m"s due to combustion caused by poor packaging care what was left was edible for the children even though I wasn't able to use it for its original purpose

Same great taste in this large size. The zip lock feature is excellent and had sturdy packaging. Would buy again.

it is difficult to review a product that I never received, but paid for, however, that being said, I purchase M&M's often and they are an excellent item and they are enjoyed by my staff at work. Just wish I would have received what I ordered especially since I could have purchased for half the prioe at Costco

I have loved M&M's since I was small, now I am 58 years old and still love them.. I got this bag and WOW it was so big and filled.. I thought it was going to be a bag full of air and little candy.. Boy was I wrong.. In fact I still have them in candy jars all over the house, so if anyone wants some, they wont get into my stash in my bedroom.

I was really pleased with this Product, but M&M's are the Orginal ones.. YUM-O

Because I ordered this to come through the mail, there was a lot more breakage of candies at the bottom of the bag. There was more than enough to make up for it though.

M&M's are never recommended for your health. They are high calorie for their size and weight, and 'empty calories' at that. Still, chocolate has been found to have beneficial properties (in moderation). Also, a few M&M's in place of a full dessert is also a convenience and money saver, as well as calorie saver.
The problem comes when you stop taking a few from the jar and instead put that jar by your side as you watch TV or work on-line. THEN, these candies convert from harmless snack to a real diet problem. It's up to you and your self-control. To be honest, I used them as a harmless snack for a while and then broke down. (I admit it.) So, as for this author, I just cannot have that huge bag of temptation in the house, the car, or anywhere within 100 yards of me...
