Milk Chocolate "Jivara" in a Tin Box - 40% Cocoa - 18 Squares

I LOVE this chocolate. No waxy taste, creamy texture, and chocolate/carmel combo that rocks. I am also trying to lose weight and have been trying to cut back on sweets. These have such a rich flavor that you really only need to have two squares to feel satisfied. And the squares aren't that high in calories. Great situation all around.

I want to start out by saying that I am dark-chocolate guy. I usually eat Guanaja from this same brand rather than Jivara. Nonetheless, I have great faith in this brand so I tried it. Although it is milk chocolate (and hence, for me, fatally flawed) it is truly unique milk chocolate, and even a dark-chocolate guy can like it.
First of all, it is the characteristinc Valrhona long lasting flavor effect, that remains into your mouth for one minute or more after you swallaw it.
Second, it is by far the least sweet milk chocolate I ever tried - that's a plus, just in case you have doubts :)
Third, you can feel that caramel was used to replace (in part) ordinary sugar.
All in all, well, if you really prefer milk to dark chocolate, this is a must try. It is still better than dark chocolate of most (but not all, of course) other brands.
