Great for Beginning Readers and Beginning Speakers,
By Tam Mori "tammori" (Japan and USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Milk to Ice Cream (Welcome Books: How Things Are Made) (Paperback)
My two-year-old loves this. She makes us read it to her all the time, and has practically memorized the first half of the book already. She likes it so much that we've started buying other books from the same series. It contains a simple story of a boy and his father making ice cream. The text is very simple, and short, making it good for beginning readers. It's been my experience, though, that books for beginning readers are also great for beginning speakers. This is a good book for kids who like photos more than illustrations, and will obviously appeal to any child interested in cooking (or ice cream).

Thanks for offering an informative book on the one of many milk use processes. It is easily read and understood by the lower elementary audience.
