This is an amazing book. I received it from a Bombardier who flew B-24 missions. It is a seat-of-the-pants account of one man's experience as he bails out of his plane and becomes a POW. I read this book in four hours. I could not put it down! This is a must read for anyone who enjoys military history.

If you enjoy WWII aviation books, this one is for you. It details the personal experiences of a B-24 crew member who nearly finished his tour of duty. A quick "milk run" should have been his last experience of the war. Instead, he sat it out in a POW camp.Easy reading. Well worth the cost. |
