Yes, of course I think "Nature's Way" is tops and "Now" is excellent, but this "Swanson Superior Herbs" product is the one on my shelf. Honestly, for me, this is a matter of cost, and the Swanson product costs less than half as much as the Nature's Way product. Occasionally, Swanson runs buy 1 & get 1 free promos for this specific product. That is when I get mine, generally I buy 3 and get 3 free.

I take 3-4 capsules per day, on an empty stomach. I take Milk thistle because I take a large number of prescription medicines, and have for over twenty years. I read an article that Milk Thistle was good to take for diabetics so I thought I would try it. Since I started taking it my blood sugar levels have lowered by about 20 pts. so far. i notice my urine color changed. it gotten extra brighter yellow while taking milk thistle, so im assuming that it is cleansing my liver considering that its what milk thistle does. i take 1 a day. 120 caps = 120 days

The 21st century milk thistle is the best i've tried. This is cheaper, but i end up taking more, and still doesn't do the job that the 21st century does.
