Depressing and Unnecessary,
By Jack Hoffman (Cal-ai-forn-ai-aye) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Milking The Sacred Cow (Greatest Hits) (Audio CD)
From the shabby sub-40 minute running length to the awful artwork, it's obvious that Manifesto Records was actually being truthful when they gave this piece of product its "ironic" title. All you get are 10 previously released songs and two collector-bait live tracks that are just outtakes from "Mutiny on the Bay," and if those weren't even good enough to be included on there, what does that tell you? Sorry Ray, but it's stuff like this that makes me think you really were the bad guy after all.

What a ripoff! Oi! Oi! Oi!,
This review is from: Milking The Sacred Cow (Greatest Hits) (Audio CD)
it was inevitable wasn't it? so maybe jello was screwing the rest of the band out of royalties (mind you they wanted to claim writing credits for the songs, (mtv get off the air being one of them) and then they said that they were being ripped off coz jello didnt promote the songs and get them on mtv) but you can see why he wanted to protect the catalogue. im not against greatest hits sets, as long as the dont include new songs (what a rip that always is) or they dont disgrace the bands back catalogue. unfortunately, the three other DKs have done just that and offered up a minimal amount of tracks on this ripoff cd. dont remember them this way, go get give me convenience, plastic surgery disasters or fresh fruit.

Legalised Theft Leaves Us Bereft,
By alainsane (U.S. Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Milking The Sacred Cow (MP3 Download)
If you support thieving, opportunistic back-stabbers, who repackage songs they were only minimally involved in creating, then this is the album for you.
