This is a fabulous shampoo that does exactly what the label says. My hair was breaking and falling out regardless of the expensive products I tried to correct the problem. The name brands I found in stores that were supposed to be "restorative" and "damage repair" did nothing to solve the problem. I bought Millcreek Botanicals Keratin Shampoo and Keratin Conditioner to add to my collection of "hopeful" problem solvers and was amazed to find that they actually worked. After using the products for three days, my hair actually seems stronger with very little "shedding" and breaking--with body, bounce and shine just as the labels indicated. In this day of outrageous product claims, it is refreshing to find products that actually work as the manufacturer claims.

I purchased the Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner at a vitamin store for the same price point here at Amazon but felt the need to write a review. I have mixed/african american hair that has been breaking off from coloring and heat damage. My hair had lost all of it's luster and body and the texture was no longer silky and shiny. No joke, with one use of this shampoo my hair was back to life. I finally had a head full of thick, shiny and silky hair again. My husband said that my hair looked like his parents dogs hair when it comes back from the groomers. I know it sounds crazy but that was actually a complement! (he ment it looked very shiny) lol...

I did the brasilian keratin to my hair, and bought this shampoo and it has worked great!!

Firstly, I'm not sure why the image that comes up for this product is "pau d'arco" and not the shampoo - the image switched after I ordered the product and made me question what I really ordered. It was the MillCreek Shampoo that arrived, although the shampoo leaked. The bottle was taped at the snap-spout, but not around the cap where the shampoo leaked from. It was loosely wrapped in bubble wrap and that didn't help to contain the liquid from soaking a bit into the cardboard box. It wasn't too bad, really, but could have been packaged better.

As for the shampoo, I thought I read through the reviews carefully before choosing this one. I have had the keratin treatment done and wanted to find a good shampoo to help maintain the treatment. This sounded like a good one that had popped up on a few forums as an appropriate shampoo for the keratin treatment.

My experience with it is that it is quite watery (even though I shook it in case it settled upon shipping). I couldn't get a lather although the label/directions states that one will get a "rich lather." I've tried using more and it doesn't quite lather and remains watery. Unless I use a huge palm full, I'm not quite sure about this shampoo. Also, I have a lot of thick, coarse, wavy hair and this shampoo actually feels quite stripping.

I'll keep trying it - it has only been 4-5 times since I have used it - but this is not proving to be a favorite. I'm choosing not to return it as the shipping was more than the shampoo itself. Perhaps I'll mix it with another shampoo and just use it up.

It made my hair clean and I didn't feel it left residues. My hair looked shiny and I had less breakage so it seemed. Good price

I've used this shampoo short of a week. Completely incredible. I am a self proclaimed compulsive shopper and I'll buy just about any hair product because I previously wasn't 100% satisfied with any one product. This shampoo has been a game changer (along with L'anza conditioners, amazing). I don't know if I'll ever feel that "itch" to try out another shampoo. The ingredient listing is wonderful, it smells great.. but.. I've tried many in those two categories. The difference here is it didn't strip my hair, it feels perfectly clean when rinsed -not brittle and equally not filmy. I've had the easiest time detangling my hair, which is done in the shower, my hair has had an incredible bounce to it. It looks nourished and I haven't seen it like that in a long time, if ever, and it's the middle of winter in Connecticut. I have african american 3B curly hair and I'd recommend this to anyone with that hair type. Again, I am committed to this product as long as the formula stays this way.

I ordered this shampoo as well as the conditioner. I don't really see a major difference between using this and any regular drugstore shampoo (except the fact that this doesn't really sud up). It does feel clean and I enjoy the smell but I don't see the improvement in hair breakage or shine. I notice my hair seems frizzy though (which it usually isn't). Recently however, I added some Jojoba Oil I ordered from Coastal Scents to this shampoo and conditioner giving it a more liquid consistency but now I get that shine and softness I was looking for. Washing my hair now feels like more of a moisturizing process rather than the stripping of the natural oils from my hair so I will consider purchasing this product again unless I find a shampoo that works better without adding jojoba oil.
