5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect book for architects to have, July 27, 2004
This review is from: Millennium Kisho Kurokawa: Architect and Associates selected and Current Work (Millennium (Antique Collector's Club)) (Hardcover)
I'm an architecture student in the AASTMT in Cairo, Egypt. I've gone throw this book and I was amazed by the works of Kisho Kurokawa, he was a genius. The best thing in this book is the pictures that show the structural systems. Also the plans and elevations of his selected works in the book are shown in a simplified manner. This book is rich with information spicially if the reader was a student it would give him ideas and he could make brain storms. I tell you this is a must have book. I recommend it to all architects.

5.0 out of 5 stars Architecture in motion: function and flow, December 4, 2000

This review is from: Millennium Kisho Kurokawa: Architect and Associates selected and Current Work (Millennium (Antique Collector's Club)) (Hardcover)
The architecture of Kisho Kurokawa and Associates creates a feeling of flow in all its settings. Highly utilitarian and sturctured in glass, steel, and stone, this is an achievment to behold. This book reflects that achivement with details and large color photos of major projects. It will appeal to the professional and the lay person equally. Part of the overall effect of the book is the absence of any humans in the photos, a typical standard of architecture depictions. Here one sees those spaces waiting to be filled with people, also in motion. Readers will feel those spaces with this book open.
