The world is saved. Or so it would seem...,

This review is from: Millennium Pb (Projekt Saucer) (Paperback)
Millenium is the fourth book of W. A. Harbinson's Projekt Saucer series. I have loved all of the previous Projekt Saucer books, but Millenium is particularly fascinating, as the storyline ends up showing how the world is finally saved from the threat posed by the genius John Wilson. Or so it would seem...The story starts from where the previous novel, Genesis, left off. In 1980, a disturbing discovery is made in an iceberg in Antarctica. I won't give away what that discovery is, but I will say that it will be very familiar to anyone who has read Genesis. The story focuses around the American UFO photographer Grant McBain and the US Air Force Captain Lee Brandenburg, both who are trying to get to the bottom of their UFO experiences. Eventually, these two characters end up joining forces. The story also shows what became of some of the characters from Genesis. Millenium differs somewhat from the three previous Projekt Saucer novels, in that the character Wilson is featured far less, not appearing in the story until near the end. It also differs from its predecessors in that the ending is more positive, and an end is put to Wilson's Antarctic colony. I won't say how this occurs, but suffice to say the novel pulls this off in quite an interesting and clever manner. But things are not quite over yet. There's still one more Projekt Saucer novel after this- Resurrection. I look forward to reading it. |
