Expected More From Old Brydon, Need Some New, March 10, 2007

Was Moloko just a twist of fate for Mark Brydon? This album is OK, but I thought his pre-Moloko work would have been at least somewhere along the same path. It just didn't do it for me, but I'm glad it's in my collection. Maybe it was just very ahead of it's time or I was expecting to hear some pre-Roisin type vocals in it, but she hadn't even met Mr. Brydon yet. Hopefully he has something in the works that is as new and unique as Moloko was and remains.
