Peter Rixon is based in the West Country. After completing his doctorate he became an auctioneer of antiques, dealing in all kinds of collectables, including toys and books, however his expertise and passion lies with diecast toys and he has amassed a vast collection of hundreds of items.

The approximate values are given as recorded by the author from various sources. Excellent for collecting in a organized manner.

I am an avid 1:18 scale diecast car collector for over ten years now. I purchased the Miller's collecting Diecast vehicles (Peter Rixon) book. This book is not what I was expecting according to the one rating from the previous person. It's not worth the money whatsoever! So, please don't waste your money like I did!!! The best 1:18 scale diecast car collecting book ever published was Cast-Car Publication Issue #3 American Muscle Ertl Collectibles. Thank goodness I didn't it pay the $62.52 dollars for my hardback copy. I only lost $13.00 instead! $13.00 dollars or not, I hate throwing money away for "JUNK!" Miller's book shows junk toys and is not for the serious adult collector!
