rock and roll,
This review is from: Shedding Slicker Brush Large (Misc.)
The best method of use for this brush is what I like to call the rock and roll. Just place it in the fur and rock it back-ward then pull up. Our dogs really hate it when we pull it through their coats and usually runaway, but this way it feels like being petted to them. I think the brissleshurt when we just pull it through.

I have a collie, which the Shedding Slicker brush works GREAT!
It definitely gets a lot of the hair he's shedding off of him. I should've bought more than one!

This brush is very effective at collecting loose hairs, relieving the cat of having to lick them up herself, and relieving you of vacuuming them off the sofa. I use the zoom groom first, because it is better at loosening hair, then follow with the shedding slicker brush, which has metal bristles and collects nearly all loose hair. I bought one after seeing it used at a vet's office, and now regard it as essential. My cats love it too. When I get the brushes out, there is competition as to who will go first!
