Millicent and the Wind,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Millicent and the Wind (Classic Munsch) (Paperback)
I liked this book a lot because it is a neat story about making new friends. Millicent lives high in the mountains and becomes friends with the wind. I won't tell you what happens --- you need to read it. Enjoy it.
Jacob age 5 and almost three quarters (with help from his mom).

Millicent and the Wind (Classic Munsch)
Millicent lives far from the village and is lonely. One day the wind is in a good mood and speaks to her. They play tag together and have fun. Millicent and her mother walk three days to the village to shop. Children there are rude to her and the wind picks one boy up and tosses him around. Millicent is sad the children have run away. When she returns home she tells the wind she would like a friend besides the wind. So the wind brings a kid for her to play with. A charming story. It would be cool to have the wind for a friend but I guess it has it's limits! |
