Before listening to this album, I did not believe the combination of those two music genres could sound decent enough. Obviously, K-Maro proved me wrong! What motivated me to check out K-Maro's music was his first single "Femme like you". This album (just like his debut one) combines the English and French language.. This helps his music stand out from the rest similar albums possibly on the market. And contrary to what I expected, hip-hop performed in French sounds really well!

I enjoy listening to most of the tracks on this album, with the exception of "K.M.A.R.O", "Juss Shake" and "Dirty". This album combines addictive rhythms, great vocals from K-Maro as well as female backing vocals from time to time.

The lyrics, at least those in English, are not that great, no deeper meaning or lyrics that makes you think. Just plain straight-forward lines like "Give it to me baby, I like the way you shake it". Besides, one could not expect more from this kind of music. What is most enjoyable here is the music, the rhythm, the beat and K-Maro's smooth vocals (Gangsta-style). As in most hip-hop related albums, bad language is part of this album but not up to the point that it gets annoying.

The music and those English-French vocals create an amazing atmosphere, both easy-listening and powerful especially in songs like "Strip Club" or "Histoire De Luv".

As a conclusion, I must say that this album is mostly recommended to the people who find hip-hop --at least-- tolerable, and to the R&B fans who'd like to listen to something different.

Very, very "addictive" piece of music, enjoyable..

You can see by my enthusiasm and my OTHER REVIEW about K'maro, that he is just awesome! Can't wait for the NEXT album.
