This review is from: Millionaire By 26: Secrets to Becoming A Young, Rich Entrepreneur (Paperback)
I did not do my due diligence on researching before purchasing this $16 book. A bit about the author: Mr. Hayashi claims to be a self-made millionaire at age 26, yet never discusses how he really made it or which business he actually was in, which is strange and unconvincing. I cannot find any infomation on his venture in Google either, so my best guess is that he work for multi-leveled marketing company, make his way up and later have some kind of business ??!! Maybe that's the reason why he had so much praise, and devoted too much pages, on multi-leveled marketing opportunies and imformercials. For the enterprenuers who do not want to work for these types of company, the best things you can get out of this book is (1) Goal and focus: set your 1, 3, 5 year goals on paper. Put them somewhere you can see and stick to it (2) Time management: use automatic payment, avoid high-tech that watse your time (3) Deligence: divide the work out as much as possible ... and some other good advides (but VERY vague) like purchasing tape of mentors, balacing work and place, stick to your game plan, don't listen to negative people AND THAT 'S ABOUT IT. Mr. Hayashi is a sale man, as you can see so far. This's not to say that this book is a sale pitch. It does contain some good informations. Yet if you have some basic understanding of running a business OR you're over 25 years old OR you're consider running your own business instead of joining a multi-leveled or an informmercial, this is NOT a book for you.

Worst $16 + time I've ever spent, January 6, 2008
This review is from: Millionaire By 26: Secrets to Becoming A Young, Rich Entrepreneur (Paperback)
I'm not sure what these reviewers giving 5 stars were reading, but it clearly wasnt this book. The entire first few chapters talks about how great this book will be as it to build up to some greand and monumental information, only there is no climax. Only common knowledge such as "talk to rich people to learn about how they got there", "think positive" , or " buy audio tapes or successful people". There was a 3 page segment on why audio tapes were better than audio cd's. I mean c'mon give me a break here. 90% of this book was filler, the rest of the 10% was filled with common knowledge. As a side note, there is no explanation as to how the author became a millionaire, and Google results show nothing either. Questionable to say the least. While the saying goes, "dont judge a book by a cover", this book does not fall under that category. The book is indeed as ugly as the cover.

WASTEOF MONEY, June 24, 2007
This review is from: Millionaire By 26: Secrets to Becoming A Young, Rich Entrepreneur (Paperback)
THE AUTHOR REVEALS NO SECRETS. iN FACT, HE HIMSELF SAYS "THE SECRET IS THAT THERE IS NO SECRET." (tHAT'S THE BIG SECRET). I FIND IT HIGHLY IMPROBABLE THAT HE WAS A MILLIONAIRE AT 26 OR THAT HE IS ONE NOW. THERE IS NOT A GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT PAGE IN THE BOOK AND IT IS RIDDLED WITH MISSPELLED WORDS. MOST 6TH GRADERS CAN WRITE BETTER . THERE ARE OF COURSE LOADS OF SECRETS-LIKE THE ONE TO MAIL ORDER MELVIN, THE SECRET BEING THAT PROFIT IS MADE FROM SUBSEQUENT SALES "iT'S A BACK -END BUSINESS" BUT THIS AUTHOR DOESN'T EVEN TELL YOU THAT.
