I purchased this book after reading the rave reviews and believing it, given the name, would teach me something a bit more complex than "the golden rule." Equally as disappointing was the way it was written. The style and word usage is around the third grade level and the content around the fifth. Also, if you have ever in your life read any other book remotely associated with this subject, don't waste your money. This is simply the most basic content, rehashed in a cutesy little story that is less than believable and not very interesting.

Greg Reid's a successful businessman that was generous enough to share his success and leadership tips. Many times self help books tend to be a bit dry and boring. "The Millionaire Mentor" is entertaining, fun to read, and filled with great insights. By the way, If you ever have the opportunity to listen to Greg Reid speak, you're in for a terrific time. Greg is one of the best motivational speakers in America. Don't miss his upcoming movie "Pass It On."

This book beautifully illustrates the basics of making a successful life. Not only with material posessions but with relationships as well. What intrigued me the most was the care and time that Roy devoted to Oscar! I hope that every reader gets the basic building blocks for making a sucessful life AND realizes just how much care and help is out there from others.

I'm going to share it with our teenage son next. The back section of "Success Cards" is very handy for quick tips. Love it!

I love the fact that the book is a combination of fiction and nonfiction, putting across a great message told as a story. To use a famous sales quote: "Facts tell, Stories sell", and the story in this book really makes sure that the message hits home.
