5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK!, June 8, 2011

This review is from: How To Marry a Millionaire [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
If you were around in 1953 when this movie was released...you'll recall that it was a major screen revolution being one of the first pictures released in Cinemascope! The film is "sophisticated perfection" and this soundtrack is equally a treasure to behold. I never thought that it would ever be released and I can tell you that if "half" the world would listen to this joyous, uplifting CD, the world would be a much happier place in which to live and commute time would be a pleasure! Many memorable standards are used in this soundtrack.... "How About You"; "I've Got a Feelin' You're Foolin"; "Sweet and Lovely"; and "You'll Never Know". This soundtrack makes you feel like you're getting to visit and relax with an "old friend". You won't be disappointed if you purchase this CD and I recommend it even for the "younger crowd"...so that they, too, can hear how great movie music truly could be during a much more innocent time...the 1950's!
