Building up to seven figures......,
By Hard Working Geek (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Millionaire Zone: 7 Winning Steps to a Seven-Figure Fortune (Hardcover)
I thought this book was going to be like other financial self help books - but it was much more practical. I really liked the focus on finding a strategy that works for me - based on my interests, my risk profile, and the amount of money I have available. And it really made a lot of sense to tap into the people I know for help. The book gives really helpful ideas of how to do that. It was really easy to read.. the author has an engaging style. Overall, I'd recommend this book.

The Millionaire Zone=life net
Ms. Openshaw's seven winning steps is her personal journey to her many achievements. Throughout the book, the author's passion as a successful entrepreneur is palpable: A business is a "Home zone"-"where you heart and soul reside." Perseverance, redefining your comfort zone, reaching out and having a burning desire to give back will help you reach your Millionaire Zone sooner.

Pretty repetitive book over a single concept: Network!!!,
By DP (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Millionaire Zone: 7 Winning Steps to a Seven-Figure Fortune (Hardcover)
Reading this book could only help you but I found it very repetitive and lacking in real substance. The author emphasizes relying on your network to increase the chances of your success. And that's pretty much it. It's a very important concept that I agree with but as an entire book, it's a yawner.

Not much here,
By Ray Sola (Tucson, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Millionaire Zone: 7 Winning Steps to a Seven-Figure Fortune (Hardcover)
The book reads more like a bunch of articles she wrote pieced together to make a theme. Not a lot of great info here and what there is is beaten to death. Also, lots of name dropping in and fluff that will impress some to thing she knows what she is talking about and making a pint, but it really isn't there. Many other better books on the market. Read this only after you have read everything else.

This review is from: The Millionaire Zone: 7 Winning Steps to a Seven-Figure Fortune (Hardcover)
Truly a book that offers simple, practical steps to create a personal strategy for success. Isn't the real dream to earn a substantial income from doing what we love? In this book Openshaw gives the tools and the blueprint to create our dream. She clarifies how to use our own "LifeNet(tm)", as she calls it, to enlist the help we need to begin to build. Building our dream with others can open more doors to build a bigger dream than we ever could imagine as shown in the many real-life stories she cites. Now that's Powerful!
