In a nutshell, no. There is no romance -- plenty of unbridled lust, but that's about it. I cannot figure out how Brant and Kia decide by the end that they love each other. Through most of the book Brant wants Kia - but thinks that she's a gold digger. He treats her very high handedly (is that a word?!). Then there's Kia. She doesn't like the way Brant treats her - she wants him, too - but she's whiny, jumps to a million conclusions and instead of asking about things - she just assumes that Brant is like her father and she runs away. What on earth do these two people see in each other?

Many romances use the technique of mis-communication - but usally by the end you believe in happily ever after. I think this couple is just headed for trouble!

was alright for me but still gave it a 4 would drop it to 3.75 stars tho but still liked it

I don't know how she does it but she had me hooked from the first page and in one night l finished the book.. I love the arrogance of Brant and the sass from Kia it had me smiling the whole way through.. So much so l finished it at 2am only to pick up the next book in the series fighting myself as had to try and sleep as l had to get up for work at 7am.. I LOVE Maxine's books but l try not to pick one up as l know it will be finished soon and l don't think she can write as fast as l can read..
If you are like me and love sassiness and arrogance mixed with a bit of romance this is certainly the book (series) to pick up!!

I loved every page! It had everything you would want in a romance novel and then some. If you want to escape to an exotic locale and experience passion then you need to read "The Millionaire's Seductive Revenge".

In "The Millionaire's Seductive Revenge" by Maxine Sullivan, undeniable desire is fueled by underlying need. Brant Matthews looks upon Kia Benton as a self-serving money-seeker who uses her beauty to obtain what she wants. Kia sees Brant as a seducer and user of women, reminding her of her own wayward father. The fact that Kia works for Brant's partner, Phil, as his personal assistant only adds to Brant's speculations about Kia. When she appears to become engaged to Phil, Brant's anger is as raging as his desire. He wants Kia for himself, and he determines to beat her at her own game. Soon, their attraction cannot be denied, and physical want overcomes logical thought. However, Kia and Brant each have a deep longing for more than just physical intimacy. Can they find true happiness in each other's lives? An intensely passionate and compelling love story, filled with strong romantic imagery. This is the first book in Maxine Sullivan's "Australian Millionaires" series, and I very much look forward to continuing the series!

I loved this book so much I will never part with it. I have read this book five times over. I hope Maxine will follow this format with her other books because she has written a winner.
