5.0 out of 5 stars don't hesitate to buy this CD, August 7, 2002

I really didn't know what to expect when I picked up this CD. I knew Ray's voice from Genesis and liked it but I didn't know Ray's writing style. I was captivated by the very first notes and it just got better and better. Favorite tracks are Another Day, Ghost, and the Steve Wilson penned track Shoot the Moon. However, knowing what the songs are actually about adds to my appreciation of the lyrics on all the tracks. Not to be overlooked is Paul Holmes' keyboard contribution which gives a richness to the songs. This CD probably gets played more than any other in my collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars don't get much better than this, September 30, 2001
This review is from: Millionairhead (Audio CD)
If you liked Minds Eye ( stiltskin) and Ray with Genesis. Then this is a must album. Even those who aren't familiar with rays work should really give it a try. My wife for example has become a keen fan. Its one of those albums that don't fade.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent start for a great band, August 1, 2000

For those who enjoyed Ray Wilson's vocals on "Calling All Stations," this is a must have. All the songs are very listenable, and there are some great grooves in here as well. Highlights include the title track, and a great cover of "Space Oddity." There are a few minor problems with the album. Ray and his brother are still somewhat new to the songwriting gig, and the lyrics show it. Also, the drummer, who was fantastic on the afforementioned Genesis album, was underutilized on this album. The overall album, however, is one of the ones I listen to the most out of my collection of over 300. Don't let the import price dissuade you, this is well worth it!
