This was a story I had as a child and I wanted to have a copy for my daughter. She loves the story. It's very fun for someone who loves cats. Highly recommend it.

I was searching for books for my sister's baby shower, and this came across my "recommended for you" section and I'm so glad that it did. I had completely forgotten about this book, and I ordered it immediately. The illustrations are so well-done, I remember being a child and getting lost in the pictures. As an adult I have a deep appreciation of the time it must have taken to draw all the grass. The story definitely teaches a lesson in self-control and moderation, because if you don't practice those you will wind up with a cat massacre :P.
