This book contains very little useful information for genealogy purposes. I was expecting detailed information on some promenent Mills immigrants, maybe some passenger lists, and perhaps some older information ([...] seems to think every family in America came through Ellis Island, my family has been in this country for 335 years). This book might be of use to someone who is just starting to research their family and has no idea where to start, however for someone who has been researching for 15 years, it is useless. The book is also very over priced in my opinion for anyone's use; it is a very thin, flimsy book that should cost about [...] not [...]. They should also be honest and advertise the book as being for beginners, I was looking for a book of detailed, but general history on the Mills family as a whole. This was not it. I am almost always pleased with things I buy from Amazon and fortunately I don't have to write a negative review often. In short, avoid this book if you are looking for any real information.
