It's only 36 minutes long, but it's a darn good 36 minutes. When it was over, I just went right back to the beginning.

To me, this is the record of the summer. I know Best Coast has that whole 60s girl-band thing going, but these guys are originals. I heard them interviewed on NPR. They were all vocalists in their prior bands, so they knew they wanted to focus on harmonies. And the harmonies are beautiful. Most songs start with kind of a fuzzy bass wall of sound, and then the voices come in. I can't really compare them to any other group. They really have their own sound, and that is exciting. Not too heavy, a perfect summer record. Highly recommended.

Love this band! Saw them live in slc with the civil wars. Great album, with great harmonies and lyrics! I would definitely recommend this album

Man, what can I say? This album is amazing, start to finish. The vocal melodies, the atmosphere, the lyrics ... they're the kind of things that make your mind wander to a place of its own making -- an experience unique to each listener. I don't drop 5 stars lightly; this album is worth every one.

If you enjoy great music, BUY this album. "Epic" falls short when describing this masterpiece. Yes, I said it, masterpiece. All of the songs fluidly fuse together with both mellow and groovy tunes, overlain by the sweetest harmonies you have ever heard (from all 4 lead singers), having you just GLUED to your speakers (or headphones) from the very beginning to the very end. Then comes repeating the album over and over. Their music is simply exciting, in every way.

I have listened to a lot, I mean A LOT, of new albums over the past year (over 30 come to mind), but this one has successfully taken over as the best album of the year(s). Listen to it on repeat. Watch a couple of their YouTube videos as well, AWESOME.

Again, BUY this album. Do not try to download/purchase elsewhere, you have no time to wait. Can't say much more, see for yourself.

Lastly, look for Milo Greene to see if they are coming to your town for a show. Seeing them live adds an even more incredible element to their music, you really see their raw talent, and how many different combinations of harmonies that they actually do on the record. These 5 will go a very long ways.

Don't forget, BUY this album NOW!

I heard this group mentioned on NPR, and I am so glad I did....I love this CD. The songs are melodic and the lyrics and beautiful harmonies stay in your head long after the songs have ended.
This CD is perfect for a world with too much noise and news. Relax and enjoy every note. It is lovely music. Each time I play it, I find pure enjoyment in every song!

Milo Greene is a California rock band comprised of a very talented group of musicians. The album "Milo Greene" sounds like roots rock has been mixed together with dream pop, and it's really a smooth marriage. The singers' harmonies blend together beautifully and make for a very enjoyable listening experience. Some tracks that I really love are "Take A Step," "1957" and "Cutty Love." Give it a listen!

I picked up this album because I was planning on hearing Milo Greene play with Family of the Year here in Atlanta. After the first listen I was hooked. What a great album! The songs are complex and rich. The album is full of different textures and great voices. I'm eager to hear them in Atlanta again in October, and I'm even more eager for another album. What a bunch of talent!

First heard these guys a bunch of months back on NPR, then saw them with the Civil Wars. So I was already somewhat familiar with their music when this album came out, but was still really surprised by what a lovely album it is. The songs flow beautifully from one to the next, creating this incredible atmosphere around the listener. I love music that has this effect - reminds me of how I felt when I first heard Ray LaMontagne.... just swept away to another place. Rich harmonies, music that alternatively has a deep driving beat to an ethereal other world feel (but NOT in some new age awful way!).... having a hard time finding the words, but if you like the samples of the songs I think that you will be really happy with the overall effect of this album. Worth it!
