Milton Berle was an extraordinarily generous, kind, supportive friend of Jane Froman throughout her long struggle to regain her health and her career after she was severely injured in a plane crash in Lisbon in 1943. In this show, these two great stars perform with the spontaneity, warmth, exhuberance and affection that can only come from a long and trusting friendship. Their personalities, mutual trust and positive energies make this a unique treasure, in my view.
So glad I got my copy before they're all gone!!!!! |
