"I love you, you love me, get that old boot away from me." Yes, there's nothing like catching red, yellow, mauve, or green fishies with everybody's favorite purple dinosaur. And with Barney's First Fishing Game, preschoolers won't have to worry about the one that got away. Kids put all 24 plastic fish (six each in four colors), along with the Old Brown Boot, into the center of the "pond," which is a gameboard that's outfitted with finger-activated levers. By repeatedly hitting their own colored levers, players make the fish flop from the board into their own play areas. Kids keep all the fish of their chosen color and toss the rest back (including the boot, which also costs them one fish of their own color). Play continues until one player has all his or her colored fish--and no boot. Fast, noisy, and extremely silly fun, Barney's First Fishing Game is a whale of a good time for small fry.
