5.0 out of 5 stars Great Old Game. Price Beware, February 26, 2011

First the beware part. Not sure who these retailers are trying to fool, but don't let it be you. $650.00 for this game? Not on this planet. Go get this off ebay. You can get a great used complete game usually for around 60 bucks. Don't pay more than 100. If you just have to have a new in box game, I see them every day for about $150. If you plan to play the game, there isn't any reason to go that route though.

On to the game.

It's great!
It's your basic turn based dungeon crawl and you can pull up youtube videos to see people playing the game and get great descriptions of the game visually so you can better determine if it's for you. It's great for family play and any kids from 8 on up should easily be able to grasp it and it's entertaining for adults as well, even with no kids. :) Generally this is a one to two hour per play game.

I've played board games forever and this is in my top 5 for sure. If you think you might like this game, check out Heroscape out on youtube as well. There are differences between the games and one may appeal more to your liking than the other.

In anycase, there is a huge internet community for both these games and the replayability is awesome.

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Board Game EVER!, October 25, 2010
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

This is the most AWESOME GAME EVER! Period. Put out in 1989/1990, it is very interactive, yet very easy to understand. Comes originally with 14 quests, but there are at least 7 expansion packs with several other quests each. The sky is the limit, though, with this game, as you can create your own quests as well. I had this as a kid for a short time, and like most other toys and games, as I got older, I got rid of it. Dammit!

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh what a game!!!, November 19, 2008
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars

OH the fun I had with this game!!!! I remember my friends dad bringing this home and he would be the games master (the referee) and my friend, me and a few others would play. This game got me into RPG which I still do now, but oh the imagination this game generates!! Fantastic game for a family to play!!! and those with artistic ability can paint the minitures!! and whats really good is that it NEVER ENDS as you can write your own adventures or expand upon it!!
