5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product
I have only used this brand of puzzle glue (based on a bunch of reviews on another site). It has done an excellent job on the 6 puzzles I've glued; 2 of them are glow-in-the-dark (single color and multi color) and I was a little worried that the glue would affect the paint, but it didn't. 3.0 out of 5 stars Works well needs a wider brush
Works quite well but the brush is awful small so it does take some time to do a 1000 piece puzzle.

I have only used this brand of puzzle glue (based on a bunch of reviews on another site). It has done an excellent job on the 6 puzzles I've glued; 2 of them are glow-in-the-dark (single color and multi color) and I was a little worried that the glue would affect the paint, but it didn't. I find that I use more glue than the average reviewer; for me, one bottle covers a 1000 piece puzzle twice. I have used 2 coats on the front and then one on the back as well; I don't think any of the pieces are going to move after that! The applicator is okay although it's hard to get the last bits out of the bottle. FYI, I found that the absolute BEST paper to glue puzzles on is the plastic-coated freezer paper (Reynolds makes this); if you put the puzzle on the shiny side to apply the glue it absolutely WILL NOT STICK to the paper, and then you can re-use the paper for other puzzles too. I'd say this paper is a must-have!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good puzzle glue, January 9, 2007
This review is from: Liquid Puzzle Saver (Toy)
This puzzle glue does exactly what you want. I applied one coat, let it dry and then applied a second, just to make sure that no pieces fell off of my puzzle later. It comes with it's own brush which also makes things easy. So far I have used it on a 1000 piece puzzle, and half of the bottle is still left. I highly recommend this puzzle glue.

I was surprised.

You have to take your time and paint over every piece and where they connect.

I had to go over my daughter's puzzle twice. Once it dries, you don't see it and the puzzle keeps together.

I used this on a landscape puzzle of Las Vegas, 1.5 feet by 3.5 feet - so it was a large puzzle.

The puzzle has stayed together fabulously, so no complaints there. Even survived a vicious house cat attack without breaking apart.

My complaint is that as the puzzle dried, the edges curled up so the puzzle didn't lay flat anymore. This was a problem when I hung it on the wall because I had to nail every corner and some random other nails into it to keep it flat. I would say the edges curled 1-2" off the wall, so it was kind of significant and bothersome to look at or walk past.

I suppose this could be avoided in the future by weighing the puzzle down as it dried, but I didn't know that ahead of time.

This glue is easy to apply (even in sections, for unfinished puzzles), and dries clear. However, I haven't used any other brand of puzzle glue, so I can't really compare this kind to anything else. The bottle contains enough glue to cover 1 medium-sized puzzle and 1 large-sized puzzle (23'x33'). You will probably want to apply two coats in order to get the puzzle rigid enough to mount on a wall -- and in this case, 1 bottle per puzzle should be the rule.

I did have some problems with the brush hairs coming off onto the wet puzzle, and it's annoying to try and pick them off a gluey surface.

My boyfriend bought me a gorgeous 1000 piece puzzle for my birthday as an activity we could do together.
I really wanted to be able to hang it on my wall, so I purchased this puzzle glue.
It's an excellent glue! I secured the puzzle to a simple piece of poster board and hung it on my wall using poster-tape. It's very secure!

I tried this glue based on the reviews I read. I used the glue on a large glow in the dark puzzle. I did the front side twice, back side once and still had a little left. The little brush did not bother me like I read in some reviews, it just took a little longer to apply. The puzzle looked great after the glue dried and we framed it & hung it up. Our grand daughter was so excited when she saw her master piece hanging on the wall. Thank you for a great product, it was worth the extra money.

After much research on the web, this was recommended and came thru beautifully. I have a large puzzle I wanted to glue and hang in my son's room. This glue was remarkable, mess free and quick. I had never glued a puzzle before and this was so easy I was thrilled!

We do a lot of puzzles at my house and glue them together when they are complete. This glue is one of the best for coverage and strength and ease of application.
