Product Description

Amazon.com

Can you draw a cat? How about sketching something that conveys the word area or The English Patient? Can you do it in less than 60 seconds while your team yells the wrong answers at you and the other team is close to getting it right? Welcome to the game of Pictionary, in which players attempt to guess words from sketches made by other members of their team. The words can be objects, people, actions, places, animals, or the dreaded "difficult," although in the heat of an exciting game, even house can be difficult. Word cards are randomly selected, the timer is activated, and players begin scribbling franticly as they race to beat the clock. Correct answers are rewarded with a toss of the die and progression around the board toward victory. Pictionary veterans should note that this is an updated edition of the game, including more than 1,000 new words to challenge even the most experienced quick-draw artist. Pencils, sketchpads, and a 60-second timer are included. Pictionary is for four or more players. --Simon Leake

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, Fun, and more Fun!!!!!!, August 19, 2001

Our family favorite game. We take this game on vacations///cruises/// and laugh so hard at the drawings that emerge. A word is picked from a certain catagory and there's only a certain amount of time allowed to draw and let your team mate guess the word. ANY age can play and everyone has a real good time. Sometimes the opposite team member gets so caught up in the drawings made and the fun and fast pace, that they will shout out what they think the drawing is and might be helping an opponent. I love this game.........IT"S SUPER-DOOPER FUN!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Game Of Quick Draw, November 24, 2003

Pictionary, the game of quick draw. This game is truly AWESOME. I played when I was just seven years old, so I didn't quite understand some words and the rules. I just liked being told what to draw and then drawing it. Now, I am older, and I understand probably over 3/4 of the words, so it's easier and more fun. The whole excitement is great. You only get one minute to draw a picture, and the whole excitement of people having to guess what you draw is really great. I don't have the game, but my parents and I are planning on getting it, of course, it's the old "You want it, you buy it." so thankfully I have enough money.
I really reccomend this game to everyone, especially ones who love to draw, like me. You are guaranteed to have a blast!

5.0 out of 5 stars The classic cheezy icebreaker game., August 5, 1999

College freshmen - sometime during orientation you will be forced to play this game! Sure, it's silly, and you definitely have to be in the mood to make an idiot out of yourself, but hey - It's fun. It helps if you and your team mates share a psychic bond so you can sense what that squiggle with a blob on top is supposed to mean. For a real challenge, use the pictionary cards to play charades (ever tried to act out paisley?)
