I am 30 but I remmber getting this gift as a child! Its wonderfull, and I never got sick of it! Now I bought it for my kids its educational and fun! This toy Teaches reflex and critical thinking skills! In a world that directions are critical this is a must! 3.0 out of 5 stars Simon's Great, But This Ain't The Original!
I was a publicist for Milton Bradley during the original Simon's heyday. This Simon product for sale is obviously the modern day rendition of the original, but to describe it as the original 1979 version is incorrect. I still have one of the classic originals. Perhaps the way you play the game is the same, but this new version barely resembles the old. They should make a...

Truly think I drove my family insane with this one! Always dragging it around and trying desesperatly to follow its sequences. Great game which prompts you with sounds and colors, first slowly then in an accelerating pattern. Very good to improve one's memory and aimed at both visual and auditive memory. Simple, yet... Efficient!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun toy, but best played alone in a soundproof room, August 5, 1999

Don't bring this on a road trip - although the passengers will be endlessly entertained the driver will eventually snap and throw the batteries, the toy, or the offending passenger out the window. It's a fun and addictive game, but the incessant beeping will drive bystanders insane. Play it by yourself or disable the sound (which will make it much harder)

I remember playing this game with my family when I was maybe 10 years old -- and I'm 26 now. Excellent game for parents to play with the kids, but also great for playing alone or without the younguns. Improves coordination and short term memory too.

Simon was my favorit childhood game, it offered a repetative pattern of lights and sound and a sense of challenge that would keep me interested for hours. I would highly recomend it to children who are focus oriented and love to find a challenge within themselves.

I was given this gift as a kid and absolutely adored it! I was good with memory stuff - my other favorite was Husker Du? - and this kept me challenged. I remember my parents and other adults being amazed at how good I was after playing with it a lot! Katie Angier (Harry's my hubby)

Simon is a great game for both children and Adults. There are 4 colours (Pink, Blue, Green, and Yellow) that you must hit. You must keep the rhythm and not wait too long. My compliant is that sometimes when I hit the buttons, I have to do it two times for it to respond. But my mom says that's because I don't hit it. Also, it gets a little to loud when you hear all these 'beeps' when you're trying to do your homework, and it's a little...y'know...shakey. And after a while, you lose interest. But the good thing is it made my brother STOP pulling annoying tricks and START hitting, and the other thing...Simon is a great toy!
